Introduction

This Introduction covers the different components and features of the user interface, and often adds some background on the features.

Purpose

Introduce you to concepts and terms. We will cover "What" and "Why", but not "How". For "How", see the Runcible User's Guide.

Audience

General Audience that wants to understand Runcible concepts and terms.

Professional audience that wants a brief overview of how Runcible differs from other Collaboration software. Users who have experience with ERP, Project Management, and Task Management software who want an introduction. Administrators and Operations who want to understand the system's capabilities.

The Header Bar

The Header Bar contains these controls:

The Deck

To Use the Deck

• Drag one or more tasks to the Dock on the bottom rail (left of the Runcible logo) to build a Hand (deck).

• Drop onto an existing hand chip to add tasks, or onto the Dock / + to start a new hand.

• Click a hand chip to peek its contents. Select rows in the peek to drag a subset; drag the chip itself to drop the whole hand.

• Drop the hand (or subset) onto Tags, Team, Skills, Sales, and other panel rows to create the same associations as dragging directly from the task list.

Tip: Hands are saved for your browser tab so a refresh keeps them until you clear the hand.
